It may seem counter-intuitive that a person of science would use Tarot in her practice. On the surface of it I would agree with you. However, having been in practice for a while, I am seeing a trend in dealing with people and their states of dis-ease. There are factors that are sometimes hidden along our healing journey. These factors can play a giant role in our recovery. As we get older we often lose sight of old hurts, old dreams and old desires that often keep us from our potential of chronic wellness. The tarot helps us to uncover these barriers to wellness. When a thing is uncovered then it can be healed. We carry these "hidden gems" with us always, and they do their damage whether we acknowledge it or not. I use two decks; the Chrysalis Tarot (Brooks and Sierra) and the Sun Moon Tarot (Decort). One highlights the path and one is very specific and to the point. I have found these to be the best for my work. I do two kinds of readings, one is a 3 card reading a card for the energies of the past (where the issue stems from) The present (how the energies are working right now) and the Future (how things may turn out). We discuss how all these work together to determine if they are helpful or hurtful. I also do a chakra reading. We draw one card for each chakra...and the energy of each chakra is oftentimes revealed where the energy is balanced or unbalanced. We work on clearing or enhancing those energies for your greater good. We do them online, messenger, zoom or skype.
